This article will provide you with all the details regarding your payment method.

How can I add a recurring payment method?

On the Computer via my.felfel.ch

  1. Click on at the top right.

  2. On the right-hand side, click next to .

  3. On the left-hand side, click .

  4. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: American Express, LunchCheck, Mastercard, PostFinance, Reka, TWINT, Visa).

  5. Follow the instructions from your card provider.

In the FELFEL app

  1. Open the FELFEL app.
  2. Tap on in the bottom menu. 
  3. Scroll down until the headline .
  4. Tap on .
  5. Tap on .
  6. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: American Express, LunchCheck, Mastercard, PostFinance, Reka, TWINT, Visa).
  7. Follow the instructions from your card provider.
Ensure that your payment method is authorized for online payments—especially TWINT. Additionally, TWINT may regularly request you to confirm this. You can do so by following the steps under 'How can I change my recurring payment method?'

If you're using a credit card, please ensure that it is 3D Secure enabled. If not, you might need to activate the 3D security feature, which can only be done directly with your bank.

Also, make sure your payment method has a sufficiently high monthly limit and enough funds available.

  4. On the left-hand side, click .

  5. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: American Express, LunchCheck, Mastercard, PostFinance, Reka, TWINT, Visa).

  6. Follow the instructions from your card provider.

In the FELFEL app

  1. Open the FELFEL app
  2. Tap on in the bottom menu. 
  3. Scroll down until the headline .
  4. Tap on .
  5. Tap on the symbol in the top right-hand corner.
  6. Tap on the  symbol next to your current payment method.
  7. Tap on .
  8. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: American Express, LunchCheck, Mastercard, PostFinance, Reka, TWINT, Visa).
  9. Follow the instructions from your card provider.
  10. Tap on to save everything.

Can I charge money on my FELFEL account?

  5. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: PostFinance - card or eFinance, Reka, TWINT).

  3. Tap on .
  4. Choose the amount (given or individual) and click on .
  5. Choose your preferred payment method (possible: PostFinance - card/eFinance, Reka, TWINT).
  6. Follow the instructions from your card provider.

Important:

  • Please note that the minimum amount is 1 CHF. We recommend saving a payment method, as it is the easiest option. Our payment service providers ensure the security of all payment information.
  • Your purchases will first be deducted from any positive account balance. Once your balance is used up, your registered payment method will be charged.
  • You can always view your positive balance in your profile or on the screen next to your FELFEL fridge. Once the balance is no longer visible on the screen, it means you have used up all your credit.

How do you bill me?

Our standard billing is done weekly, meaning we charge your payment method once a week (on the night from Thursday to Friday) for all purchases made during that week.


Can I settle my open balance at any time?

I can’t manage my payment method – what can I do?

On the website:

  • Try using different browsers.
  • If it doesn’t work at the office, try it at home, as some employers impose network restrictions on Wi-Fi.
  • Alternatively, test it via the FELFEL app.

In the FELFEL app:

  • Close the app and reopen it.
  • Delete the app completely and reinstall it.
  • If you're connected to Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data, as some employers restrict network access.
  • Alternatively, you can also manage your payment method via our website my.felfel.ch.

Why can't my payment method be charged?

  • Your card has expired.
  • You don't have enough balance in your account.
  • You have reached your monthly limit.
  • TWINT: Online purchase permission (EC connection) is not granted. Please delete and re-add your payment method.
  • Credit card: the 3D security feature is not active, please contact your bank directly to resolve this issue
  • LunchCheck: Your employer might have set a time frame (11:00-14:00) during which you are allowed to use your LunchCheck card. Please check out the following article to learn more.
