My LunchCheck payment isn't going through - what can I do?

Reason 1: No credit left

When you get your LunchCheck account and card from your employer, you usually have a daily or monthly limit to spend. Sometimes, you might go over that limit, which could create an open balance on your FELFEL account. If that happens, you won’t be able to use your credit until the negative balance is settled. Don’t worry – here are two simple solutions you can choose from.

Solution 1: Add a second payment method

If you add a second payment method to your FELFEL account, any amount over your daily or monthly limit will automatically be charged to that method. Just follow the steps in this article to add your second payment method.

Solution 2: Reload your LunchCheck account

You can also reload your LunchCheck account with your own funds. That way, any amount exceeding your limit will be covered by your balance.

Reason 2: Payment outside the allowed time

Some employers only allow payments with the LunchCheck card during specific times – usually between 11am and 2pm. Check with your HR team to see if this applies to you. If it does, make sure your LunchCheck card is properly set up as your recurring payment method. This article will show you exactly how to do that.
